USA: Police photo of Tim Walz has surfaced! Is Harris' vice president a target for Donald Trump?
A 29-year-old police photo could cause problems for the US Democratic vice presidential candidate, Tim Walz, in the current election campaign. The photo shows the young Walz, a teacher at the time, being arrested for drunk driving and speeding. With about 0.1 per mille alcohol in his blood, he was above the American limit. Walz had already made the incident public in 2018 and emphasized that this experience had made him a better person. Since then, he has completely abstained from alcohol and coffee.
Despite this incident, things are currently going well for Walz and his boss, presidential candidate Kamala Harris. Current polls show them ahead in three important swing states. But the old offense could serve as a welcome target for the Trump campaign, even though drunk driving is not uncommon in the USA.
At the same time, some media criticize Harris for having published few concrete positions on important issues such as migration and abortion. While she is gaining ground in the polls, it remains questionable whether it is wise to rest on the wave of enthusiasm without presenting clear political programs. The coming weeks will show whether her reticence could become a problem in the election campaign, as was the case with Joe Biden.
