After Oprah's Book Club pick "A Million Little Pieces" was revealed not to be a true memoir, Oprah invited James Frey on the show in what became one of the most controversial interviews in "Oprah Show" history. Oprah says that after that interview, she called James to apologize. In the final season of the show, James and Oprah sat down on camera once more to publicly clear the air.
