“Balamuralī Gāna Sudhārasa Sāra Sangraham”  is an endeavour aimed for posterity of Sri. Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna’s (BMK) music through audio restoration of heritage music concerts of the yore.

The journey into Muralīgānam takes us through many milestone concerts and here is one such from the year 1964.

Here, Sri. M S Gopalakrishnan (Violin) and Sri. Umayalapuram K Shivaraman (Mridangam)accompanies BMK.

Any effort that has been made towards the restoration of this audio would only see its fulfillment, if the same is listened and enjoyed by one and all.

An additional gem to this wonderful necklace of a piece is the introductory note by Sri. D V Mohana Krishna, a disciple of Sri. M Balamuralikrishna. We are indebted to him for taking time to share his thoughts and some interesting pointers on Kalyāni RTP.
