Altea is a small and pretty town, located in the region of Alicante on the Costa Blanca, just 11 kilometres away from the lively holiday destination of Benidorm, yet the two resorts are very different. Altea offers tranquil and scenic athmosphere with beautiful pebble beaches, and amazingly blue water sea. Its charming old town is perched on top of a hill from where you will enjoy spectacular views. The old town is a maze of steep cobblestone alleys and whitewashed houses, as well as restaurants, shops and cafes. Here you will find the symbol of the city – the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Consuelo Altea ( Church of Our Lady of Consolation of Altea ).

Altea has excellent amenities for your relaxing holiday, however, if you want vibrant nightlife and to mix socially, you should go to Benidorm.
