This week we are presenting an analysis of the epilogue from Richard Strauss’ Till Eulenspiegels lustige Streiche. This brief conclusion is a modified version of the opening section and it is characterized by the elegant mixture of several of the piece’s leitmotivs underpinned by Strauss’ idiosyncratic chromatic harmony.
