If you’re a songwriter, composer, lyricist or music publisher, you should join ASCAP to make sure you get paid when your music is played on the radio, streaming platforms, television, live in concerts or clubs. And any other place you hear music being publicly performed – in the US or globally. Songwriters and composers can join ASCAP for free. And if you join as a writer and publisher at the same, that's free too.
