Man Shot and Killed Outside Westside Albuquerque Motel

Today at around 1PM, the
Today at around 1PM, the Albuquerque Police Department responded to the Days Inn motel located at 6031 Iliff Rd NW for a possible shooting victim. When officers arrived on scene they located a white colored sedan with faded paint on the westside of the property. Inside the car was a man who suffed at least one gunshot wound.
APD secured the scene and Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to determine the man was beyond life saving efforts and he died on scene.
Nine months ago a murder happened in the same exact location of the property. This is the 55th homicide of 2024.
