EDIBLE PLAYDOUGH RECIPE, Applesauce playdoughin
EDIBLE PLAYDOUGH RECIPE, Applesauce playdough
in this video I show you step by step how to make edible playdough using rice cereal and applesauce.
What You need:
- 2 cups of Kellogg's Rice Krispies
-3 cans of apple sauce
- 1 cup of cornstarch
- food coloring
- 3 Tbsp. of vegetable oil or coconut oil
instructions:
TEPS
1. Mix dry ingredients together. Whisk dry ingredients in a bowl.
2. Add wet ingredients, and mix.
3. Once it starts to clump together, you can begin to knead it with your fingers. Soon you can pick it up and mold with your hands.
4. Break into two pieces, once dough is nice and smooth. Place each pieces into separate Ziploc bags, and then add 10-15 drops of food coloring. Close bag and then knead color into the dough.
5. Once it’s mostly mixed in, you can remove from the bag, and continue to knead with your hands.
1. Get a box of Kellogg's Rice Krispies, take two cups and grind it, you will have about half a cup of rice cereal,
2. Add 3/4 cup of cornstarch to it, mix the dry ingredients together.
3. Divide the dry ingredients into three bowls and leave them on the side.
4. Next take 3 cans of apple sauce, color each of them with your favorite color, add a half of a teaspoon of vegetable oil to each can of apple sauce,
5. and mix each colored applesauce and oil of of the dry ingredients mix
6. Knead each colored playdough with a spoon, use a different spoon for each bowl
7. Add more cornstarch if needed until you get the desired playdough consistency
8. knead playdough with your hands
Edible Playdough is now ready to give to children
This is is a safe edible playdough recipe for toddler and babies but it is not to be eaten as a meal,
Adult supervision is required to make this edible playdough recipe and to supervise kids playing with this edible playdough to ensure their safety.
