Definite Article (The):
Use: Refers to a specific noun that is known to the listener/reader.
Rules:
Used before singular or plural nouns when referring to a specific or particular thing.
Used before superlative adjectives ("the tallest," "the best," etc.).
Used with unique things or things previously mentioned.
Indefinite Articles (A/An):
Use: Refers to a non-specific or generic noun.
Rules:
"A" is used before words that start with a consonant sound.
"An" is used before words that start with a vowel sound.
Used to introduce something for the first time or when not referring to a specific thing.
Exceptions and Special Cases:
