Ford Hallam demonstrating the traditional
Ford Hallam demonstrating the traditional Japanese method of water casting into a cloth mould known as yuwake or yudokobuki . . The water in the pan is about 75 degrees C, it was boiling a few minutes previously. Copper melts at 1083 degrees C and pouring molten metal into water is potentially very dangerous.
