Balance Equation For Process Modelling

The balance equation is arguably the most important part in developing a control system for a process model. The balance equation is our accounting system for mass, momentum and energy quantities into, out and generated within a system. We can use this to develop differential equations that describe how a quantity is affected over time allowing us to control it by understanding what variables affect our system most!
