What is RAM/Random Access Memory? Explained in Tagalog! All about RAM and general information. RAM stands for Random Access Memory. RAM is also considered as a storage but it is Volatile. Meaning, all the data stored and saved will be complete gone or erased once the power to your system is cut off.

It is RANDOM because the memory device allows data items to be read or written in almost the same amount of time irrespective of the physical location of data inside the memory. RAM doesn't stop in its capacity or being having many GB. RAM also has its own speed or frequency that is measured by Hertz.

There are so many variations and combinations of RAM's capacity and speed. Like any other computer parts or components, RAM comes with different brands or manufacturers such as: Crucial, G.Skill, Kingston, Corsair and etc.
