In this video, I show you from start to finish, my wash day routine! This is one of my HIGHLY REQUESTED VIDEOS. In this video i am 19 months into my transition to natural. My wash day has been the same from day one. The only thing different, are the products I use.
I wash my hair 2x a times a month. It roughly takes about 5 hrs.
Step 1 Lightly finger detangle dry hair(you can pre-poo, pre-poos do not work for my hair anymore, they create build-up)

Step 2 Shampoo Scalp or Shampoo the length of your hair(depending on how my hair feels, I will do my scalp or my whole head and when i do i rinse then apply my deep conditioner) I shampoo my scalp every 2 weeks and I shampoo the length of my hair once a month. I wash my hair twice a week.

Step 3 Rinse Out Shampoo (or skip to Step 4)
Step 4 Apply Deep Conditioner to Wet or Dry Hair (Mega Growth Deep Conditioner) I prefer to apply my dc to dry hair because my hair absorbs the product better. Do what works for you! I deep condition twice a month.

Set 5 Let Deep Conditioner Sit On Your Hair (Use a Steamer, Plastic Cap/Bag, Hooded Dryer Or Deep Conditioning Bonnet

Step 6 Rinse Out DC( Depnding on your hair porosity use cool or warm water) I use Cool water. Don't know your hair's porosity?

Step 7 Optional Shampoo or Condition or Apply an oil to your hair while in the shower. (I DO NOT DO THIS STEP, because of product build up and its not necessary for my hair)
Step 8 Towel Dry or T-shirt Dry

Step 9 Put hair into sections
Step 10 Everyones hair is different.... do what works for you. Detangle and moisturize and seal. LCO or LOC method are really great techniques. I moisturize and seal 1-3 times a week
