In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how-to create and manage snippets in HubSpot.
Snippets are short, reusable text blocks that can be used in email templates, in chat conversations, and when logging activity or note for a contact, company, deal, or ticket.
Steps to follow:
1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Conversations then select Snippets.
2. In the upper right corner, click Create snippet.
3. In the dialog box, in the Internal name field, enter a name for the snippet.
4. Enter the body of your snippet in the Snippet text section.
5. To modify the text, use the formatting options at the bottom of the editing window.
6. To edit the font style and size, or edit the text alignment, click the More dropdown menu.
7. To add hyperlinked text, click the link icon link.
8. To include personalization tokens in your snippet, click the Personalize dropdown menu.
9. Enter a name for the snippet shortcut in the Shortcut section.
10. This shortcut will be used to insert the snippet in a record, email template, live chat conversation, or when logging an activity.
11. When you've finished creating your snippet, click Save snippet.
12. You can also manage our snippets into folders.
13. First, create folder by clicking New folder
14. In the dialog box, enter a name for your folder, then click create the folder.
15. To move a snippet into a folder, hover over the snippet and click the More dropdown menu, then select Move.
16. In the dialog box, select a folder to move the snippet to, then click Move.And you are done!
