How to Thread Singer, Brother, and Janome Sewing Machines takes you step by step through the threading process on 3 of the most popular brands of sewing machine. From an Antique Singer Treadle to a more modern Janome QC6260.
Most bobbins for front and side loading machines go in clockwise. Most. Not all! There are some front and side loaders that are anti-clockwise or counterclockwise. Top loaders or drop-in bobbins tend to be anti-clockwise. Always check your machine's manual to find out which way your bobbin goes. Your manual will also tell you which way to put the needle in.
