One of the many solutions to solving the sliding puzzle in Dragon Age Origins DLC Stone Prisoner.
You have to save Amalia from the demon kitty who wants to possess her.
Connecting the torches will lower the force field preventing the demon from escaping. After lowering the force field, the player can let the evil kitty demon take over the child or choose to fight it. At this point, if you choose to fight, the girl will run away and be saved but if you decide to just skip the puzzle, the cat will take over the kid and you'll be forced to kill both.
