I taste traditional food in Saudi Arabia with the skilful cooking of 50-year-old restaurant serving gelatinous sheep feet and heads, enjoy some popular Jeddahawi kebab and fresh, fried and flakey fataya drenched in Yemeni honey.

Deep in the old town of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, locals sell fresh produce and small restaurants grill, steam and roast traditional Arabic food.
Enjoy smokey Jeddahawi kebabs and chicken tikka grilled over charcoal, then a personal favourite of mine, Ras (sheep’s head) and feet with a flavoursome broth, ending with a hot, crunchy and flaky desert, Fataya; a flat bread cooked with sesame oil and sesame seeds then drizzled with golden honey from Yemen.
