In order to convert 270°C
In order to convert 270°C to degrees Kelvin we can use the formula below:
K = °C + 273.15
For example, to covert 100° Celsius to Kelvin, we would use:
K = 270 + 273.15 = 300.15
So 27°C = 300.15 K
Note that we do not use the degrees symbol, °, with the K for Kelvin.
Note that there is no temperature lower than zero Kelvin. Zero degrees Kelvin is called Absolute Zero.
