In this beginners guide to slow stitch, I build on what we’ve leant in lesson 1 and start by choosing a main colour, picking out complimentary fabrics, lace and other items you can add to your stitchery to create interest and texture. We then use running stitch, whip stitch and cross stitch to bring everything together.
