Finally Yogyakarta, Indonesia! Yogyakarta (or
Finally Yogyakarta, Indonesia! Yogyakarta (or Jogja and Jogjakarta) is among the top travel destinations in Indonesia as it's located in an area full of attractions. On our first day exploring Yogyakarta, we continue amazed by the friendliness of the Indonesian people. We start the trip visiting Kraton (the Sultan's Palace - yes, Yogja is a monarchy!) and its various locations, including the beautiful Taman Sari. We even see batik being made 😍. From there, we walk around the Kraton area, discovering ancient ruins and the hidden mosque. At night we head to Alun Alun Kidul square, as it comes alive with the neon cars.
This trip to Indonesia was before the lockdown.
