Manipur Curfew Live Updates: The Indian Army on Friday said that the situation in Moreh and Kangpokpi areas was brought under control and is stable. It added that all efforts are underway to restore normalcy in Imphal and Churachandpur area. On Thursday, to contain spiraling violence in Manipur between tribals and the majority Meitei community which has displaced over 9,000 people from their villages, state government issued shoot at sight order in 'extreme cases'. Fifty-five columns of the Army and Assam Rifles had to be deployed to contain widespread rioting. Meanwhile, internet services remain suspended in Manipur for five day.
