Although we have seen the downfall of many authoritarian states and leaders, the continue to exist despite the negativity most people feel towards them. However, like most things authoritarians are not simple. The complexity of what they advocate for differs on many political, social and psychological views. The video delves into their personality, social attitudes and how they use aggression and nationalism to their advantage. Authoritarians will always be present in society, so an understanding of their variations is important. Not all authoritarians are trying to dismantle democracy, but still try to enforce others to their will.
