Overview:
Traditional fisheries are appliances or equipment used by fishermen while fishing. Some examples are nets, nets, hooks, hook mine, bait, lures, spears, nets, traps, Bubu, throwing net. There are many types of techniques or traditional fishing methods in Aceh. Traditional Fishing techniques include hand gathering, Meubereu (Aceh), fishing and trapping More than 60 percent of the animal protein in the diet in rural areas of Aceh comes from fish. Most of the commercial fishermen are Muslims who get the simplest foods that work under primitive and dangerous conditions. Fish for local consumption is generally a freshwater variety. The genius of fish into commodities such as fish foraging societies Jurong / Mahseer fish, Tawes fish, Hampala, tilapia, Sepat fish, mullet, eel, Toman fish, catfish, and carp cork.
