BTEDG 39: QS138 Quality Insights: an audit tool to improve patient care and PBM

The Blood Transfusion Education and Discussion Group is a virtual group aimed at those working in Transfusion, brought to you by the Patient Blood Management Team at NHS Blood and Transplant.

We meet on the last Wednesday of every month and an expert speaker is invited to deliver a talk on a specific area of transfusion.  

This session is delivered by Anwen Davies, Patient Blood Management Practitioner at NHS Blood and Transplant. In this session, Anwen talks about the QS138 Quality Insights audit tool for self-assessment of compliance to the NICE QS138 Blood Transfusion Quality Standard as newly recommended in the 2023 National Comparative Audit Report.
