Today I’m going to share with you how to make the best gorditas de carne asada! Now let me tell you, I loooove gorditas stuffed with anything but stuffed with carne asada,cheese and rajas…….🤤omg its just seriously the best!!!!! what makes it the best??? the steak marinade!!! you can use your favorite cut of steak, skirt, flap or arranchera! I like my carne asada well done, so after chopping it into pieces I take it back to the comal and fry it for a couple minutes, add your favorite toppings and your favorite salsa and boom thats it, enjoy a delicious gordita!

Tip!!!! If your dough feels a little dry just add a little  more water!
You can use your favorite meating cheese,  my favorite queso Oaxaca and Monterey Jack 😊
You can also cook them in the comal (griddle)

Ingredients:
3 Anaheim peppers
Chile jalapeños
Queso Oaxaca
  For the dough
4 c Maseca
1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
3-4 cups warm water
    For the marinade
3 lbs flap, skirt or ranchera
1/2 bunch cilantro
1 orange
1/2 white onion
1/2 cup lime juice (4 limes)
1/2 c Olive oil
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp cumin
1 tbsp New Mexico chili powder
1 1/2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 serving of love 💕
