The book of Revelations tells us that Christ is He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, He is alive forever more. This song is our rejoicing in the fact that Jesus is alive, and alive forever more and that our hope is of the resurrection. All of our hope and all the promises of God are based on the fact that Jesus is raised from the dead and is alive forevermore.
