How you can easily copy a bunch of files and folders from shared with me folder to My Drive.

So, Let's get started. If you want to copy a single file. Just right click on that, and choose to make a copy from the options.
But if you have to copy a complete folder. There is no option to do so. Therefore, we need to install an Ad-On.
To install the Ad-On, click on the plus icon on the right side, right here.
Now, search for "COPY, URL TO GOOGLE DRIVE".
Click on this Ad-On and install it.
After installing the Ad-On, right-click on the folder that you want to copy, and create its shortcut in MY DRIVE.
Also, make another EMPTY folder in MY DRIVE where this folder will be copied.
Now, click on the dots menu right next to the setting icon. Click on the Ad-On that we have just installed.
Click on Select a file or folder from Google Drive.
Now, you have to authorize your login with Gmail in which you want to make a copy.
After that, navigate to the Google Drive and select the Shortcut folder.
Click on select.
Now, choose the target folder. I am gonna select that EMPTY FOLDER that we had created in MY DRIVE.
So, Before beginning the operation I want to show you that My drive is empty. This means that none of the files is stored on my drive.
Now, Let's just start the operation by clicking on "SAVE, COPY TO GOOGLE DRIVE".
Now, just wait. until the transfer is complete.
As you can see, it is making a copy of all files and folders which are actually stored on MY DRIVE and owned by me.
Let me show you my storage usage by refreshing the webpage.
As you can see, it has taken more than 1GB.
I am gonna cancel this operation because I don't need it.
So, Finally, Let me show you how to uninstall this Ad-On.
Go back to that plus Icone
Click on the settings icon and choose Manage Apps.
Click on three dots and choose Uninstall. That's it.
