Tibet.  I've always wanted to go there and explore.  Nowadays the only thing you ever hear about the place is how China runs it.  What was life like there now, in 2023?  How has Tibetan society changed?  

To visit Tibet as a foreigner, you need a permit and a group tour.  It's not easy to go around exploring on your own.  But I made it my mission to find some time to sneak off and talk to the real people of Tibet.
