Introduction to Infrared (IR) Spectroscopy | Basics and Practical Demonstration

Infrared (IR) spectroscopy is a powerful technique that allows to obtain information about the chemical  structure of a variety of substances by utilizing infrared electromagnetic radiation.  In this science video we will discuss the basics of this technique with the help of 3D animations and also perform a practical demonstration, where we study a Teflon substrate with ATR technique.
