Why F1 Abandoned The Korean Grand Prix

F1 has travelled all over the world and when the Korean Grand prix was announced, it was another way for Formula 1 to branch out into new markets. The Korean Grand Prix took place at the Korea International Circuit in Yeongam. The facilities wouldn't just feature a race track, but a small city built in and around the circuit. Unfortunately for the Korean Grand Prix, F1 would only race in the country 3 times before being removed from the calendar and the circuit's surroundings Abandoned and left to rot.
