"Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) granted rare interviews to two of the Sunday morning talk shows — Fox’s Fox News Sunday, and CBS’ Face the Nation. And in the latter, the Kentucky Senator was confonted about his health, in the wake of two recent incidents where he froze up for long stretches during press conferences.
CBS’ Margaret Brennan put the question directly to McConnell during his appearance on Face the Nation Sunday.
“People wonder about your health,” Brennan said. “How are you feeling? How are you doing?”
McConnell was short with his reply.
“I’m fine,” McConnell said. “I’m completely recovered and just fine.”"
