Creating light weight mother molds
Creating light weight mother molds involve a lot of work, patience and creative thinking. By combining hydrostone and fiberglass mat we can create very light weight mother molds for sculpture and silicone molds. Not every mother mold can simply fall into two pieces. Because of the complex nature of some sculptures, a little more ingenuity and engineering is required. In this video I share my methods for creating a complex mold and advanced techniques in an easy-to-understand tutorial. Please, be patient with yourself and your materials.
