BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO MCCC DOWNLOAD - The Sims 4 Tutorial

This video is a tutorial for people who are new to using Mods and Custom Content for the Sims 4. This is a step by step guide on how to download MC Command Center, including how to install properly.

***Some things I left out that are crucial to know if you aren’t an experienced Sims 4 Modder.*****

-if you are playing on Windows 32-bit or Mac Non-Metal, you need to be using MCCC 6.6.0. It's a special edition for legacy edition users. (it’s the last two options on the list on the download page).

-if you are using a PIRATED or CRACKED version of the game, this tutorial will not help you.

-Verify that you have Script Mods Enabled. Go into your Game Settings. Click Other Settings. Check the box that says Script Mods Enabled. You will need to restart your game if they weren’t already checked.

-After you download MCCC, you will have to UNZIP the file(s, depending on if you download woohoo too).  For anyone struggling to unzip their folder, Go to WINRAR and download the software for free (64bit for PC). Install on computer (file will be in your downloads folder, just click it and follow instructions to install). Then once downloaded, go to your zipped MCCC file, and right click on it, then select “Extract Here”.  That should make about 14-16 files (depending on if you choose woohoo download too. You will have to do this to both the MCCC core file and the woohoo file).  Here is the link for WINRAR: https://www.win-rar.com/start.html?&L=0

-Last part, this is where many people screw up. Your folder must only be 1 folder deep, I go into detail about this at 1:15 .

-IF ALL ELSE FAILS, TRY THIS:::::🚨
Remove ALL MCCC files you have from your game folder (delete them). Go and redownload MCCC (and mccc woohoo if you desire). This time I want you to unzip the file(s) while they are still in your download folder. You should then have 14-16 files. Then I want you to open your game folder on a separate window (pc, documents, electronic arts, the sims 4). Click the Mods Folder. Make sure there is absolutely nothing inside of this folder. Then I want you to click and drag all of those MCCC files over to the Mods folder. You shouldn’t be dragging any folders, only files! Once done, start up the game, then test by clicking on your sim or a computer. You should see an option for MCCC appear in the pie menu.
