Edmund Fitzgerald Memorial Nov. 10, 2003 - Capt. Don Erickson

Great Lakes Maritime Institute hosted the program at the Dossin Museum in Detroit. The program started with a Lamp lighting ceremony held at the anchor of the "Fitz" located in the yard of the Museum. The ceremony was  followed by a talk from Capt. Don Erickson who searched for the Fitzgerald on Lake Superior the night of the loss. The ceremony marked the 28th Anniversary of the loss of the Edmund Fitzgerald on Lake Superior at approx. 7:00 pm November 10, 1975. Viewers from across the country were able to submit questions to the speaker online.
