Rapid fast release finger actuator assisted opening mechanism. Made with 4034 stainless steel blade by http://schrade.com/
Designed for rapid, one-handed blade deployment, the SCHA4BG has a drop point 3.3 inch, black coated, 4034 stainless steel blade that can be quickly opened in one of two ways... Either by using the ambidextrous thumb knob or by rotating the finger actuator located on the handle spine. The knife is secured in the open position with a reliable liner lock... and for added security when the knife is in the closed position you can engage a safety lock located on the side of the handle.
The edge and spine of this handsome blade converge to form a sharp and pointy tip, designed for piercing, probing and precision cutting. The SCHA4BG's fine edged blade is ready for any tactical or every day carry cutting task. Move your thumb or forefinger to the large spine-side cutout for more cutting control and leverage. The rugged, ergonomic handle is formed from aluminum and is ergonomically contoured to perfectly fit the human hand.
Hold and comfort are further enhanced with lower finger cutouts, a textured handle surface and a gray colored, rubberized palm grip. There's a lanyard hole toward the base... and on the backside, a pocket clip for added every day carry options.
