In response to customer preferences prioritizing immersive audio experiences for all occupants in a luxury SUV, Infiniti is set to make history as the first automaker to integrate Klipsch audio equipment into a premium SUV. The upcoming 2025 QX80 is poised to showcase this groundbreaking feature, with a full unveiling scheduled later this year. The announcement was made at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024, where Infiniti disclosed that the SUV will offer an optional 24-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere Audio System.
This advanced audio system boasts titanium tweeters, a high-performance eight-inch "TriPower" subwoofer, and a 24-channel amplifier. Collaborating directly with Klipsch audio experts, Infiniti teases that the partnership has led to the development of new audio technologies for the QX80, promising to unveil these innovations in the coming months.
Seeking to redefine its image and remain pertinent in the premium automotive sector, Infiniti positions the QX80 as a trailblazer. Initially previewed by the QX Monograph concept at Pebble Beach last summer, this sizable, boxy SUV boasts commanding proportions, a sleek yet simple design, and a commitment from its design team to shape the brand's design language in the years to come.
Highlighted features from the QX Monograph concept include an expansive grille inspired by the intertwining stalks of a bamboo forest, a panoramic sunroof for abundant natural light, and innovative lighting elements.
