Wuppertaler Stadtwerke AG (WSW) (from 2007 WSW mobil GmbH) purchased a total of 53 MAN NG 313 (A23) buses from 1999 to 2001. The buses built in 1999 had a ZF gearbox, the buses built in 2000 and 2001 had a Voith gearbox, including bus No. 0168 (license plate 'W-SW 34').
The MAN NG 313 replaced the MB O 305 G buses in the WSW fleet.
By 2019, all MAN NG 313 buses were retired and replaced by MB Citaro (C2) G.
