Grottaglie, Puglia, Italy - 4K UHD - Virtual Trip

Grottaglie is a town of just over 30,000 inhabitants, located in the province of Taranto in Puglia. Its evocative name comes from the large number of caves in the area. Grottaglie is especially known and famous for its historical handicraft, the ceramics. An entire district is dedicated to this. Its centro Storico (historical center) is also one of the most beautiful in Puglia. Clearly, this city, which is clearly not part of the "classic" tourist circuit, is well worth a visit.

In the area there are other interesting villages such as Francavilla Fontana (16km), Ceglie Messapica (27km), Oria (20km), Manduria (25km). The great Taranto is also 20km away. It is therefore possible to visit at least two villages in the same day.
