I show you how to correctly install the EVGA Thermal Pads for the EVGA GTX 1070 FTW graphics card with demonstrations and explanation of how anyone can do it. It does take a little time and a bit of patience to disassemble the graphics card and you must be careful to avoid damaging the card. Thankfully, EVGA is standing behind their full warranty for registered owners of the effected cards and if a registered card owner accidentally damages their card in the thermal pad installation, EVGA will replace the card under full warranty. If you think that you do not have the patience to correctly perform the installation yourself, just contact EVGA Support and they will arrange a cross-ship which means they will ship you a card that already has the corrections installed while you ship your card to them. Either way, it is a win for the customer and a good exhibit of integrity on the part of EVGA by offering these options to us. I love my EVGA GTX 1070 FTW and I am honored to use my own card in this demonstration of this process, in an effort to help you. I sincerely hope I have inspired you to take confidence in your own ability in this video.
► NOTE - At a few points in the video I misspoke and called the VRAMs as VRMs. I got stuck on saying VRMs at 3:57 7:15 and 8:21 Then I corrected my misspoken words at 7:16 8:30 and 8:32
