#30. Spalted maple river table #rivertable

This was by far one my my biggest projects so far. Due to the size of the table, very difficult to maneuver in the workshop. I decided to divide the table in 2 halfs since I plan on adding an extension of around 80 cm wide (which will bring the table lenght to a total of around 2.85m.
As for the legs, I used the ones of my previous Ikea table.

Wood : spalted maple with large burl parts
Resin : epoxy (if you recognize the brand on the video, I don't recommend this brand)
Total duration of the project : 3 months
Total cost of the project : 1.960€
- wood : 680€
- resin : 1040€
- finishes : 90€
- other : 150€ (router bit for planing, hardware, hard wire brush, silicone, sandpapers, etc)
