Hotteok is one of the most popular street foods in Korea. I have been craving these for a long long looong time and decided to try the pancake mix from Beksul. Dang, they were as good as the ones at the local market. You should definitely try the pancake mix at a Korean grocery store nearby 🥰
The instruction was pretty easy - mix all ingredients for the dough and knead well. The best part: no need to ferment the dough! Just go straight over to the next step. Put some oil on your hands and separate the dough into 8 pieces. Widen the dough with your hand, get the filling inside and seal the dough. Bring the dough balls into a pre-heated frying pan and cook them over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Don't forget to press the dough with a spatula 😀
