(that's the case for a lot of people in real life too, just with the difference they don't share the same last name bc it gets lost after generations.) now about the age gap. i've seen people having issues with that, and i agree. i don't approve people shipping 15yr old mikasa with levi in a romantic or sexual way. now that she is 19 it's fine, but i saw people making nsfw fanart or fanfics with teen mikasa. gross. so what about me? i ship them in a platonic way. more like a dinamic duo rather than a couple. i love their canon relationship and how it started growing gradually in the manga. ofc, if something happens in a future i'll be happy. but i don't focus on that. hope y'all have a better understanding of the situation now. stop being so ignorant.
