Light and Color can affect
Light and Color can affect our moods and emotions. Red is associated with passion and excitement. Green symbolizes nature and is thought to represent tranquility and calm. Now, select Kia models offer Ambient, Mood or Theme Lighting so you can set the ambience for your vehicle.
On certain Kia models, to select your favorite setting, go to User Settings in the Instrument Cluster and select “Ambient”, “Theme” or “Mood” Lighting Once there, some options may include turning on or off the Lighting… Adjusting the Brightness, And selecting your preferred theme or color.
On some models, “Ambient”, “Theme” or “Mood” Lighting works with the music as the lights around the speakers pulse and change color to provide an “emotional visualization of sound”. Depending on your vehicle, there are several different lighting themes and many different colors to choose from.
To select your favorite settings, on the audio head unit, press the Setup key, then Vehicle for the Vehicle Settings, then Lights. Select “Ambient”, “Theme” or “Mood” Lighting Once there, some options may include turning on or off the Lighting… Adjusting the Brightness, And selecting your preferred theme and colors.
When you select a color theme, based on the selected theme, the lights on the front door trim and at the bottom of the glove box will change their colors, too. You can also select the lights to provide a continuous soft glow… Or you can activate the sound-reactive setting, so the lights are synchronized with the music. And you can even adjust the brightness of the lighting. Also note, if the synchronization feature is activated, the lights will turn off when you are not playing music or if the audio system is muted.
Please note that “Ambient”, “Theme” or “Mood” Lighting cannot be changed while the vehicle is in motion – so be sure to park your Kia in a safe place before changing the settings. While you’re driving, the light inside the door handles will gradually turn off when you reach a certain speed. And when a door is opened, the lights turn off automatically. Here’s a quick tip: If you want to reset back to the default settings, simply press the Reset button in the User Settings or on the audio head unit screen.
