In this video we'll learn how to sync multiple calendars between Outlook on your PC and Google, so that your changes automatically sync both ways.

Here's my setup: I have Outlook with just one calendar, and I have lots of data in Google, in three separate Google calendars. If you already have multiple calendars and data in Outlook, that's fine too.

The first thing we'll need to do is visit companionlink.com in our web browser, and then we'll click on "Downloads", and then "Free 14 day trial" at the top of the page.

On the next page, find CompanionLink for Google and click on the "Download Trial" button.

I've already entered my info, so I'm going to click on the "Download 14 day trial" button, to start the download.

Once the software has downloaded, we run it and follow the on-screen instructions to install.

The installer will create a desktop icon, so we'll double-click that to run CompanionLink, and then hit Settings to set up our sync.

Here, Google's requesting our permission to let CompanionLink access its data. We'll click Allow.

Now here's where we set up multiple calendars: Click on the Calendar tab.

And once there you'll see the "Calendar Settings" section in the lower half of that window.

We're going to go down and choose "Selected Calendars", and that's going to show us a list of the available calendars in Google that we can sync with.

Now I want to sync my main calendar, which is already selected, but I also want to sync Connor's calendar and Kathi's calendar, so I'll select both of those as well.

And then one more thing we'll want to do is to select the "Create sub calendars in Outlook" checkbox. This will tell CompanionLink to create calendars in Outlook that match the ones in Google, if those calendars aren't already in Outlook to begin with.

Now we'll click OK, and then we'll click YES when it asks if we're ready to being synchronizing.

Now that the sync has completed we have our data here for the main calendar in Outlook, and CompanionLink has also created Connor's and Kathi's calendars for us, to match Google. And if we click on those we'll see all of our Google data that synchronized over.

One more kind of cool feature in Outlook is that I can merge my calendars into one view so that it looks just like Google. And to do that I can just click the left arrow at the top of Connor's calendar, and at the top of Kathi's calendar, and Outlook merges them all into one view.

At this point, with your data in sync, CompanionLink will run in the taskbar and listen for changes in either Outlook or Google. When it detects a change in either one, it will sync it over in real-time.

Let's do a quick example: I'm going to take this Sales Meeting, on May 1st in Outlook, and I'm going to drag it over to May 2nd.

Then we'll go look in Google. We can find the same Sales Meeting on May 1st, and after just a few seconds, CompanionLink has moved it over to May 2nd for us.
