Shimla Landslide: A devastating landslide has struck Shimla's serene Summer Hill area, plunging the region into chaos. Reports suggest that several individuals are feared dead, prompting a swift and urgent rescue operation to retrieve stranded people. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and State Minister Vikramaditya Singh are personally present at the site, supervising the efforts. The situation has been further compounded by heavy rainfall across Himachal Pradesh, leading to landslides and challenging conditions. Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh has provided a grim update, revealing that a number of bodies have already been recovered from the debris, with an estimated 10-15 individuals still buried under the wreckage. The rescue teams are tirelessly working to ensure the safe retrieval of those trapped. This tragic incident is not isolated, as Mandi district has also experienced casualties due to the inclement weather.
