This Forest Isn't Worth Saving

When your forest is at the minimum basal area for trees and you get a windstorm, hold on. In today's video you'll see exactly why forests are even more susceptible to wind damage the closer you get to that minimum basal area for the forest stand. Unfortunately for me, ever since a big storm went through and reduced the number of trees below this value, I have trees falling nearly every day. Guess that means my chainsaw will be busy as I continue to utilize the down trees for my sawmill while keeping my trails clear.
