Urban Extension Road-II (UER II) or NH-344M is an under construction 75.7 km long, 6 lanes (main expressway) & 4 lanes (service roads) wide access-controlled expressway in Delhi NCR, India. It would start from National Highway 44 at Alipur then passes from Rohini, Mundka, Najafgarh, Dwarka and end at Delhi–Gurgaon Expressway on National Highway 48 near Mahipalpur. Its main route forms a semicircle on the western side of Delhi, additionally it has two side spurs - one from Bawana in Northwest Delhi to Sonipat in Bawana's North and second in west Delhi from between Tikri border & Najafgarh to NH9 Bahadurgarh south bypass.  Delhi NCT has 4 concentric ring roads around it - namely Inner Ring Road; Outer Ring Road; third ring outside it formed by the combination of UER-II & Chilla-Okhla Expressway. 75.7 km long Delhi Urban Extension Road (UER) II project is an under construction expressway (NH-344M) by NHAI which in Phase 1 will form a 38.111 km 3rd semi Ring Road within Delhi along its western boundary. The project was envisioned in the early 2000s by DDA as part of Delhi’s 2021 Master Plan, but was handed over to NHAI in 2018 after it failed to take off due to land acquisition and financial issues.
The UER-II has several unique features that make it stand out. First, the road has been constructed using almost 20 lakh tonnes of plastic garbage sourced from Ghazipur landfill in Delhi. The waste is processed at micro plants near the construction site in Alipur and Karala. Second, the UER-II has 27 flyovers, 26 minor bridges, 11 underpasses, and 17 pedestrian subways. Lastly, it will also be among the first national highways to be an e-highway. E-highways are an energy-efficient option where the road provides electricity to moving vehicles mostly through overhead power lines.
