Microsoft recently came out in 2018 with a brand new configuration to its 2017 Microsoft Surface Pro. This one has the intel core i5 with 128GB of SSD and 8GB of RAM. This goes for a manageable $999 on Microsoft Store.

This is the configuration I was hoping Microsoft would come out with because I wanted the i5 with 8GB of RAM but didn't need 256GB of SSD. I use a lot of cloud-based storage with my Surface Pro so I don't need a large internal SSD.
