Departing from our regular series
Departing from our regular series of “classic” older .22’s we visit with the 1981 Browning BL22. Being 38 years old it can hardly be classified as a “new” rifle but can be used as a comparison to see where the older designs carried through to our generation mostly unchanged but not completely unchanged.
My hope is that you see some design features you thought were modern are actually carryovers from the legendary firearm designers we have been focusing on like Browning, Pedersen, T.C. Johnson, L.L. Hepburn, and Arthur Savage.
