Here I show you an
Here I show you an abstract picture in a washed jeans blue. I mainly worked with the brush.
This technique is also suitable for beginners. You see in the video how I work it out. You can do it the same way or completely different. Use your tones.
Painting technique:
The aluminum foil beats wrinkles I use as a structure and I use the luminosity of the foil for shimmering effects. You see how I apply the aluminum foil with thicker acrylic binder. That was very easy. The drying took a while. To stick the foil: Folie kleben, abstrakts Bild, Anleitu...
I apply the paint roughly with the brush. Then I take the dry bristle brush and paint over it. This creates soft transitions. The brush strokes disappear. Then it can be wiped with a dry or damp cloth. It's the same technology as the Sky Cloud Sea videos. There, the technology is explained again exactly.
How did I get to the picture?
You can see how I work over the picture over and over again. I had a plan in mind ... but he did not open it anymore.
In a furniture catalog I had seen a sofa that had a pink fabric. It stood on a blue-and-gray carpet. Everything else was bright, grayscale was also visible. That had inspired me. I wanted a bright picture, in pastel colors, with light blue-gray nuances. I like the stronger colors. If I had it as bright as my plan, I had to paint it stronger again. That's why it always went back and forth. But good, because I get a color depth, which in turn results in a nice color mixture. Finally I had a color mix with which I could "live". Now it hangs in the studio and now I like it very much. I especially like the edge. I painted it dark blue and it gives the picture a frame. The washed out light blue picture above is framed. It does not turn into the white wall it is hanging on now. I like it and like to watch it ..
I took color (acrylic):
Real blue, white, Paris blue (dark blue), "skin color" or "portrait" color mixed with white, neon pink with white
Tools, the material you need:
Canvas, aluminum foil or gold foil (at will) acrylic binder or glue (wallpaperKleister also works)
simple large bristle brush - to apply the color

Water, soft rag
